As we expand our clinical team, we’re seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our founding provider group. This is a high-impact opportunity for a clinician passionate about root-cause medicine, holistic care, and improving mental health outcomes. You’ll work closely with our Chief Medical Officer and help set the standard for clinical excellence at Nira.

As part of our founding team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional psychiatric care that integrates functional medicine with evidence-based treatment protocols. You’ll evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using advanced functional labs and systems biology frameworks, directly shaping our approach to complex, high-acuity mental health conditions. You will also serve as a key clinical thought partner to the Chief Medical Officer, helping to build and scale a world-class medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for adults with ADHD, depression, and anxiety, incorporating both traditional and functional medicine approaches.
• Lab Interpretation: Review and synthesize results from advanced diagnostic panels (e.g., hormone profiles, nutrient deficiencies, microbiome analysis) to guide personalized treatment strategies.
• Treatment Design: Develop evidence-based care plans that may include medications, supplements, lifestyle protocols, and specialist referrals as appropriate.
• Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with clinical operations and health coaching teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely records aligned with state and federal guidelines.
• Quality Leadership: Help define clinical best practices, participate in QA initiatives, and mentor future hires as the team scales.

Who You Are

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP or FNP) with active license to practice in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain it prior to start.
• 1–2 years minimum clinical experience working with patients using functional and integrative medicine approaches.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying advanced testing (GI, hormonal, nutritional, genomics, etc.) in clinical care.
